With a generous 180-litre rainwater storage capacity, the City Water Butt Planter collects rainfall from your roof guttering using a standard downpipe diverter. The stored rainwater can then be reused for watering plants, flower beds and vegetable gardens, helping reduce reliance on mains water while promoting environmentally friendly gardening practices.

The integrated planter bowl provides approximately 32 litres of planting space, allowing you to grow flowers, herbs or decorative plants while transforming the tank into a striking garden feature. Its sleek cylindrical design ensures it fits neatly into patios, balconies, courtyards and smaller garden spaces where traditional water butts may look out of place.

Manufactured in the UK from high-quality MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene), the tank is built for long-term outdoor durability. The rotationally moulded construction provides excellent strength and impact resistance, while the material is UV-stabilised and frost-resistant to withstand changing weather conditions. The opaque plastic also helps reduce algae growth by limiting sunlight entering the reservoir.

For convenience, the planter features two ½" BSP threaded outlets. The raised front outlet allows easy filling of watering cans, while the lower outlet at the rear enables the tank to be drained fully or connected to additional water butts to increase overall rainwater storage capacity.
