With a generous 180-litre rainwater storage capacity, the City Water Butt Planter collects rainwater from your roof guttering through a standard downpipe diverter. This stored rainwater can then be used for watering plants, flower beds and vegetable gardens, helping reduce reliance on mains water while supporting eco-friendly gardening.

The integrated planter bowl at the top provides approximately 32 litres of planting space, allowing you to grow flowers, herbs or decorative plants while turning a practical water tank into an attractive garden feature. Its sleek cylindrical design means it fits neatly into patios, balconies, courtyards and compact gardens where space may be limited.

Manufactured in the UK from durable MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene), the tank is rotationally moulded for strength and long-term outdoor performance. The material is frost-resistant and UV-stabilised, ensuring the water butt maintains its shape and colour throughout the seasons. The opaque plastic construction also helps reduce algae growth by limiting sunlight entering the water reservoir.

For added convenience, the planter includes two ½" BSP threaded outlets moulded into the tank. The raised front outlet is perfect for attaching a tap and filling watering cans, while the lower rear outlet allows the tank to be fully drained or connected to additional water butts to increase rainwater storage capacity.
