How do I choose between a wafer and a lug butterfly valve?

Wafer butterfly valves sit between two flanges and are held in place by the bolting of the pipeline flanges together. They are lighter and more cost-effective for general isolation duties. Lug butterfly valves have threaded inserts (lugs) that allow one side of the pipeline to be disconnected without disturbing the other, making them the better choice for dead-end service or where you need to remove downstream pipework for maintenance.

Do your butterfly valves comply with ISO 5211 for actuator mounting?
