Ball Check Valve ScrewedBSPP

This compact ball check valve is engineered for simple and reliable oneway flow control in systems using threaded BSPP connections. The internal ball mechanism allows fullbore flow during forward direction and snapshut action when reversal occurs, ideal where space is limited but performance cannot be compromised.

Technical Data:

  • Body Material: Typically cast iron or ductile iron body in smaller sizes, epoxycoated for corrosion protection.
  • Seal/Seat: Nitrile (NBR) lined ball and seat; fullbore design minimises flow restriction.
  • Connections: BSPP female threaded ends (parallel threads).
  • Pressure Rating: Up to PN10 ( 10bar ), Max Back Pressure 0.3 Bar to 0.5 Bar
  • Temperature Range: Approximately -10°C to +70°C typical for NBRseat version
  • Operation: Forward flow displaces the ball off its seat; reverse pressure pushes the ball back to seal instantly.

Key Features:

  • Very low cracking pressure ensures forward flow starts easily.
  • Fullbore ball mechanism reduces pressure drop and minimises turbulence.
  • Ideal for retrofits or compact pipe runs thanks to screwed connection and short facetoface.
  • Costeffective for potable water systems, general utility lines or noncritical nonreturn needs.

Typical Applications:
Domestic water supply branches, small booster pumps, instrumentation lines, and any piping where a simple, reliable checkvalve is required and thread connection is preferred.
