Air Release Valve SingleFloat

This air release valve utilises a single float mechanism to automatically vent unwanted air from pipelines, improving efficiency and protecting against waterhammer or flow disruption. Its especially suited for water mains, distribution systems and pumping networks.

• Body Material: Often ductile iron or cast iron, epoxycoated for corrosion resistance.
• Float & Internal Trim: Stainless steel float assembly with resilient EPDM seat or orifice seal.
• Connection Type: Flanged PN16

• Temperature Range: Typically 10°C to +70°C for standard water service
• Functionality: Float drops when air accumulates, opening the orifice to vent; liquid rise makes float seal off orifice.
